Telugu Association of North America (or TANA, as it is well known) is the oldest and biggest Indo-American organization in North America. TANA was founded at a convention in New York in 1977 of Telugus from all over North America and was incorporated in 1978 as a not-for-profit organization.
Telugu schools are supported outside of AP and Telangana to preserve and propagate telugu language.
Emergency situations addressed that includes 1000+ repatriation of human remains
Students provided guidance to overcome legal and immigration issues.
Students provided assistance including financial & logistical help during needy times.
Soil and Crop health camps conducted and provided PPE Kits.
Schools are Re-built in Andhra Pradesh & Telangana.
Digital libraries are implemented in the two Telugu states.
Libraries are implemented in rural schools in the two Telugu States.
Contributed for Janmabhoomi intiative in the two Telugu states.
Scholarships provided for the needy students.
Orphans are supported for their education & basic needs of Orphans through Project Varadhi.
Eye-camps are conducted, 1.1M are screened, 100K+ cataract surgeries are performed.
School bags are donated in our backpack programs for needy school districts in USA.
