TANA 3on3 Basketball Tournament in Raleigh, NC
HISTORY IN MAKING, TRADITION IS BUILDING!!
We have successfully conducted our first TANA 3on3 Basketball Tournament in Raleigh, NC (TANA Appalachian Region). Our local high school kids have created a great competitive atmosphere and successfully completed the tournament.
In this tournament we have witnessed many positive issues, where we have seen kids help each other out when a player gets hurt. We have seen arguments which were resolved by a quick shake hand right away, which shows the positive sportsmanship and maturity in our NexGen. These are times where we will see our NexGen positive vibes and maturity!
Around 40 high school kids have participated in our TANA 3on3 Basketball Tournament as teams on a short notice. Players have registered as teams to participate in our tournament. We have also implemented a basketball tournament bracket where every team had a fair and square chance to advance in rounds.
I would like to thank our esteemed president Anjaiah Chowdary Lavu garu for inspiring and encouraging us to implement new ideas and programs for our NexGen.
First Place and second place teams were awarded with Trophies and cash awards by TANA Raleigh sponsors and consolation cash awards for remaining all teams by TANA Charlotte Leadership.
A huge thanks to Purusothama Chowdary Gude garu, Srinivas Chand Gorrepati garu, Nagamalleswara Panchumarthi garu and Sridhar Goranti garu for joining the event and appreciating the players!
A special thanks to Rajesh Yarlagadda garu and Samhith Kakarla for being very instrumental in organizing this tournament. I would like to congratulate and appreciate our entire TANA Appalachian Region and our Local TANA Raleigh Leaders.
